The 101 km state highway that links the Ahmedabad-Rajkot road at Bagodara with NH-48 at Vasad, the shortest route between Saurashtra and south Gujarat. After a 2011 BOT concession failed, it was six-laned in two annuity packages completed in 2021 and 2022.

    CARE Ratings records a 16.5-year concession with GSRDC, project cost Rs 649.21 crore (Rs 196.10 crore construction grant), provisional COD on 19 February 2022 and final completion in mid-2022 (the rationale gives both 9 June and 2 July 2022). Formally dedicated on 22 April 2022.

    Scheduled for dedication by the Chief Minister on 7 October 2021 (a later report says it was completed in October 2021); includes 18 flyovers, 24 underpasses, 38 km of service road and a toll plaza at Bochasan. The R&B minister said in July 2021 that the firm doing the six-laning would maintain the stretch for 15 years. The Rs 1,005 crore figure is as stated in the DeshGujarat report, which quotes the company.

    GSRDC signed the concession for the 101.9 km road on 21 February 2011, with work due October 2011 to April 2014 and a projected Rs 4,968 crore premium to the state over 27 years. In July 2021 the R&B minister said GVK had left the works incomplete, after which the road was re-bid as two packages.
