How we source data
Where the registry comes from
Contract records are compiled by hand from published sources: news reports, agency websites (AMC, AUDA, NHAI, Gujarat R&B, GMRC), tender portals and company announcements. Each work lists the pages it was taken from. If a fact such as the contractor, the cost or a date could not be found in a source, it is shown as “not on record” rather than guessed.
What it is not
- It is not an official government record, and it is not complete. Many smaller roads and routine resurfacing contracts are never reported publicly.
- It is not live. Statuses, costs and dates reflect the source at the time it was read and can be out of date.
- “Age since completion” is counted from the reported completion or opening date. When only a year is known, mid-year is assumed.
- Being listed as the contractor for an asset says nothing by itself about the quality of the work.
Community posts

Privacy
There are no accounts. A random ID is stored in a cookie in your browser; the server keeps only a one-way hash of it, plus a one-way hash of your network address to limit spam. Photos are re-encoded in your browser before upload, which removes embedded location data.
Corrections
If an entry is wrong, or you hold a public document (tender notice, work order, RTI reply) that fills a gap, the registry file can be updated and every change should carry its source.
