Terms of use

Last updated 5 October 2026. By using this site or posting on it, you agree to these terms.

1. What this site is

An independent, citizen-run register of public roads, bridges and related works in Ahmedabad, with an anonymous feed where people can post about road conditions. It is not a government website and is not affiliated with any public authority, contractor or political party.

2. The register is information, not an official record

Register entries are compiled from published sources, which are linked on each entry. They can be incomplete, out of date or wrong, and the sources themselves can be wrong. See how we source data.

Do not rely on the register for legal, financial, tendering or safety decisions. Check the original source or the authority concerned. Being named as the contractor for a work says nothing by itself about the quality of that work.

3. What you may not post

Posts, photos and comments are your responsibility. You must not post anything that:

  • is false or misleading, or accuses a person or company of wrongdoing that you cannot support;
  • is defamatory, abusive, threatening, obscene, or harasses anyone;
  • shows identifiable faces, vehicle number plates, home addresses or other personal details of other people without their consent;
  • promotes hatred or violence on grounds such as religion, caste, gender, language or region;
  • infringes someone else's copyright or other rights (post only photos you took yourself);
  • impersonates another person or misrepresents who you are;
  • is spam, advertising, or contains malicious code or links;
  • is unlawful under Indian law, or threatens the security or public order of India.

4. Moderation and removal

We may remove or hide any post or comment, without notice, if it appears to break these terms or the law. Posts flagged by several readers are hidden automatically. We act on valid court orders and lawful directions from government authorities.

Anyone can ask for content to be removed or corrected through the corrections and grievances page.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of what you post. By posting, you allow us to display, store and share it on this site and in material about this site, free of charge, for as long as it stays up. You can delete your own post from the browser you posted it from.

6. Anonymity has limits

We do not ask who you are, and we store very little about you (see the privacy policy). But posting anonymously does not put you outside the law, and we will provide what we hold if lawfully required to.

7. No warranty and limits on liability

The site is provided as it is, free of charge, without any promise that it is accurate, complete or always available. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for loss arising from use of the site, from reliance on the register, or from content posted by users.

8. Changes, law and contact

We may change these terms; the date at the top shows the latest version. These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts at Ahmedabad, Gujarat have jurisdiction. Questions and complaints go through the corrections and grievances page.
