Patel Infrastructure's 2018 draft prospectus lists 'six-laning of Ahmedabad to Vadodara section of NH-8 and improvement of existing Ahmedabad–Vadodara Expressway' as its largest completed road job: client Modern Road Makers Pvt Ltd, role sub-contractor, actual cost incurred Rs 3,572.17 million. It also reports a letter of appreciation from Modern Road Makers for early completion. Which stretch Patel built is not stated. The company's website separately says it built a 145-tonne steel foot overbridge on the Ahmedabad bypass of NH-8 near the expressway junction.

25-year DBFOT concession signed with NHAI on 25 July 2011, held by IRB Ahmedabad Vadodara Super Express Tollway Pvt Ltd, covering 93.3 km of expressway plus 102.3 km of NH-8. Rs 4,880 crore is the project cost stated by IRB for the whole concession; Wikipedia cites about Rs 3,300 crore for the upgrade. Sources disagree on scope: Wikipedia says IRB won a bid to upgrade the expressway from four to six lanes with service lanes, while IRB's own project page describes six-laning of the NH-8 section and improvement of the existing expressway as a four-lane carriageway. IRB's page lists the project under ongoing concessions and gives no completion date.

Built under NHAI. Individual construction contractors are not named in Wikipedia or the news sources read. One unsourced project-database page (InfraLens) lists L&T and Reliance Infrastructure as contractors; this is uncorroborated, so the contractor field is left blank.
