A March 2024 DeshGujarat report on the Prime Minister's virtual ground-breaking says the NH-47 Narol–Sarkhej elevated corridor project (then put at Rs 1,295 crore) includes an eight-lane Lal Bahadur Shastri bridge. In September 2024 HG Infra Engineering Ltd announced it had received a Rs 781 crore hybrid-annuity project from the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways to upgrade the road and build an elevated corridor from Narol Junction to Sarkhej Junction on NH-47 (10.63 km, 2.5-year period). The award report does not itemise the bridge, so its inclusion in HG Infra's scope is inferred from the earlier project description; the bridge's own cost is not separated, and no source read confirms that construction of the new bridge has started.
