Reported as approved on 1 April 2021 with a March 2024 deadline (DeshGujarat; another report says the flyover was first approved in 2017). AMC issued two notices to the contractor over delays in April 2023, and about 5% of work was pending in March 2025. The superstructure was complete and a load test ran in mid-April 2025; an opening date is not confirmed in the sources read. Shifting a high-tension line underground added about Rs 18 crore. In November 2025 Swarajya, citing The Times of India, reported that AMC had withheld payments on this project while seeking to recover the Rs 3.90 crore cost of demolishing the Hatkeshwar flyover from the same contractor.
