One of the seven iconic roads announced in September 2024 (then listed as 2.4 km). In January 2026 work was expected to begin within days, and a May 2026 report lists the stretch among iconic roads being upgraded. Cost and contractor are not given individually; the May 2026 report says the AMC approved tenders of Rs 405.23 crore and Rs 79.78 crore for iconic road projects without saying which covers this stretch.
