Flyover at the GST railway crossing linking Ranip and New Ranip. Cleared by the AMC in 2012–13 at an early estimate of about Rs 18.3 crore; the Times of India says the railways approved the land swap on 2 February 2017, and a June 2019 report put the project cost at Rs 78 crore and said one landing had been aligned onto private land. Vibes of India and Gujarat Samachar say it was completed only in 2023, after about two years were lost obtaining roughly 5,000 sq m of railway land for which the AMC paid about Rs 50 crore (the Times of India's 2018–19 reports describe 5,000 sq yards exchanged for about 11,000 sq yards of AMC land). Sources are not fully consistent on timing: a June 2018 Times of India item says the GST crossing project was 'inaugurated' on 15 June 2018, and a July 2025 Times of India piece says the 24-month project begun in 2013 'stretched to five years'. Contractor not named.
