On 22 October 2025 the AMC approved Rs 21.55 crore to lift 89 spans across the Gandhi (38), Sardar (48) and Parikshitlal Majmudar (3) bridges, replace elastomeric bearings and add steel plates and seismic arresters, by widening the scope of the contractor already restoring Ellis Bridge. The reports do not name that firm (the registry's Ellis Bridge entry records the restoration contractor as Rajkamal Builders Infrastructure Pvt Ltd). Per-bridge cost not given; at approval the work on this bridge was still to come and its completion was not confirmed.
