Estimated at about Rs 100 crore to be shared equally by Railways and AMC; as of June 2026 the railway was expected to start tendering soon. LC 308 is one of five crossings in the Rs 775 crore 'Phatak Mukt Abhiyan' list in AMC's 2026-27 draft budget. The Live Ahmedabad reported in April 2026 that AMC's estate department had served notices on roughly 300–350 properties for road widening, which residents opposed; DeshGujarat (June 2026) counts about 260 affected properties.
