    The AMC standing committee sanctioned about Rs 21.6 crore (Rs 21.55 crore per DeshGujarat, 22 October 2025) for span lifting and bearing replacement on the Gandhi (38 spans), Sardar (48) and Parikshitlal Majmudar (3) bridges, by widening the scope of the contractor already restoring Ellis Bridge; that firm is not named in these reports. DeshGujarat reported on 22 October 2025 that the contractor had already installed new steel plates and seismic arresters on Gandhi Bridge and carried out span lifting and bearing replacement there, with the other two bridges to follow. The split per bridge was not reported.
