Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Bridge (Vasna–Pirana bridge)

An AMC road bridge over the Sabarmati opened around the end of 2006, connecting Vasna and the western ring-road areas with Danilimda, Maninagar and Narol on the east bank; referred to in 2006-07 reports as the Vasna–Pirana bridge.

An August 2017 SRFDCL board meeting approved extending the riverfront drive as a concrete road up to Ambedkar Bridge. Execution details, cost and contractor were not found.

A November 2006 report said this new river bridge was due for completion in December 2006, and a February 2007 report already counted the Vasna–Pirana bridge among the city's existing Sabarmati bridges. Exact opening date, cost and contractor were not found in sources read.
