DeshGujarat (9 February 2026) reported that the AMC had approved a Rs 63 crore tender for bearing replacement on six railway overbridges including Cadila, following post-Gambhira inspections, and that the lower of two bidders had been selected; the bidder was not named. PropNewsTime describes the same approval as Rs 62.79 crore for four overbridges. This is a package cost, not the cost for this bridge. Unrelated to this, the bridge's central BRTS lane was shut at night from 6 April to 30 May 2025 for bullet-train segment erection, and a November 2025 police notification said the restriction would continue because the deadline had been extended to 15 December 2025.
