    One of the roads (20.6 km in total) in a roughly Rs 405 crore iconic-roads programme reported as planned in September 2024, which also covers Airport Circle-Dafnala, Iskcon-Pakwan and Keshavbaug-Pakwan; Ashram Road is the longest at 5,115 m, on a Gandhi Ashram theme. A May 2026 DeshGujarat report lists Ashram Road from Paldi to Wadaj among the iconic roads being upgraded and says tenders worth Rs 405.23 crore and Rs 79.78 crore were approved. Per-road cost, award date and contractor not reported.
