The three pilot stretches were Tirthnagar Society-Maharaja Agrasen School on Gurukul Road, Trikamlal crossroads-Suhana crossroads in the Bapunagar/Saraspur area and the road from Alok Society to Siddhi Bungalow in Isanpur; the proposal was approved on 30 August 2022 and laying began on Gurukul Road in late October 2022. The Times of India reported the Gurukul stretch complete in June 2023 at about Rs 7 crore (another report says Rs 9 crore), after which the AMC dug up 30 m of it for utility lines; one report puts the Trikamlal stretch at Rs 8.5 crore and the Isanpur road at Rs 1.73 crore. Contractors are not named in the sources read.
