The 1.7 km, 60 m wide VIP entry road from the airport towards Gandhinagar, rebuilt with 9.9 m main carriageways, 7.5 m service roads, 3.5 m footpaths, landscaping, sculptures and fountains. It was the AMC's first 'iconic road'.

    DeshGujarat reported the project as under construction on 7 December 2023 and, on 29 January 2024, referred to the stretch as already transformed; exact start and completion dates are not given. DeshGujarat says the firm (printed there as 'Rajhans Infacron India Pvt Ltd') will develop decorative lighting, sculptures, topiary, fountains and related items and operate and maintain them for 15 years, keeping 75% of the advertising rights and giving 25% to the AMC. A March 2024 Vibes of India report said the airport VIP road was then still being upgraded on a public-private partnership model. The civil road contractor is not named; DeshGujarat later (September 2024) put the cost of this first iconic road at an estimated Rs 35 crore.

    In September 2023 DeshGujarat reported that the AMC had decided to widen the road to 60 m and was putting the proposal to its standing committee; about 300 shops and homes were likely to be affected and 290 objections had been received, including from Sardarnagar. The source reports a proposal; completion of the widening is not reported separately.
