The Metro Rail Guy reports the 2.45 km East Ramp–Kalupur package (tunnels and two stations) was awarded to Afcons Infrastructure in January 2017 and that Afcons completed tunnelling on Package UG-1 in February 2019. The completed date here is the end of tunnelling; the Apparel Park–Thaltej section of the Blue Line opened on 30 September 2022.
